Chillicothe, OH – April 30, 2024
The Chillicothe Police Department is currently investigating a reported theft, as Charles Pritchard, a maintenance employee of RCI, contacted authorities regarding a missing leaf blower from a work truck.
According to Pritchard, he took the RCI work truck to Lowes, located at 867 N Bridge St, around noon today. Shortly thereafter, he discovered that the correctional facility’s gas-powered Stihl leaf blower, marked with “RCI,” was missing from the back of the truck.
Pritchard provided a description of the missing leaf blower, stating that it lacked an exact model and he was unsure of the serial number.
As of now, there are no known suspects, and no video footage related to the incident is available.
The Chillicothe Police Department is actively investigating the matter. Anyone with information regarding this theft is urged to contact authorities.
