OHIO – ODNR division of wildlife gives a free fishing weekend, where you do not have to purchase a license. In Ohio you must be younger than 16 years of age to fish without a license, unless you are a active member of the US military. Residents may fish without a license as part of Free Fishing Days on May 5 and 6th. All size and bag limits still apply during these days.
