Governor DeWine Announces $217 Million in Private Investment and Job Creation in Ohio

Columbus, OH – Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted announced the approval of nine significant projects poised to create $217 million in investments across the state. These initiatives will generate 707 new jobs and retain 1,614 existing positions.

During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed economic development proposals presented by JobsOhio and its regional partners. The projects are projected to result in over $44 million in new payroll.

Central Ohio

Goyette Mechanical Company, Inc., Hilliard (Franklin County)
Goyette Mechanical Company plans to expand its Ohio operations, creating 90 full-time positions with a new annual payroll of $7.2 million. The company, a mechanical contractor specializing in complex plumbing, piping, HVAC, and electrical systems, received a 1.481 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

Vantage Data Centers Management Company, LLC, New Albany (Licking County)
Vantage Data Centers plans to establish a new location in New Albany, creating 12 full-time positions with an annual payroll exceeding $1.6 million. The project involves a fixed-asset investment of $185 million. TCA approved a 50 percent, 10-year Data Center Sales Tax Credit for this initiative.

Northeast Ohio

Millennium Control Systems LLC, Beachwood (Cuyahoga County)
Millennium Control Systems will create 40 full-time positions, generating $4 million in new annual payroll. The company, which provides engineered control systems and software solutions, will expand its industrial automation line to support the electric vehicle industry. TCA approved a 1.515 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

A.R.E. Accessories, LLC, Massillon and Navarre (Stark County)
A.R.E. Accessories plans to expand its facilities, creating 111 full-time positions with a new annual payroll of over $5.6 million. The project will support increased production of fiberglass truck caps and introduce a new product line. TCA approved a 1.311 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

Southwest Ohio

4myBenefits, Inc., Blue Ash (Hamilton County)
4myBenefits will expand its operations, creating 50 full-time positions and generating $3 million in new annual payroll. The company provides benefits administration services and plans to renovate its office space. TCA approved a 1.240 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

Dayton-Phoenix Group, Dayton (Montgomery County)
Dayton-Phoenix Group will create 115 full-time positions with a new annual payroll of $5.5 million. The company supplies components and systems for locomotive, railroad, and industrial markets and will expand its current facility. TCA approved a 1.303 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

Enerfab Power & Industrial, LLC, Harrison and Cincinnati (Hamilton County)
Enerfab plans to establish a new location, creating 44 full-time positions and generating over $4.1 million in new annual payroll. The project includes acquiring a new building for its operations. TCA approved a 1.488 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

Haag-Streit USA, Inc., Mason (Warren County)
Haag-Streit will consolidate two facilities into one, creating 15 full-time positions with a new annual payroll exceeding $1.4 million. The company manufactures medical equipment for ophthalmic practices. TCA approved a 1.343 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

Westafo America LLC, Trotwood (Montgomery County)
Westafo will establish its first North American production facility, creating 230 full-time positions and generating more than $12 million in new annual payroll. The company manufactures medium and high voltage power transformers. TCA approved a 1.778 percent, 10-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

Governor DeWine and Lt. Governor Husted commended the collaborative efforts that led to these investments and job creation across Ohio, highlighting the state’s commitment to economic growth and development.
