CIRCLEVILLE – Fresh produce from local farmers in Pickaway County will still be available this year through the Counties farm market, but in a different way.
Because of COVID-19 concerns the Pickaway Farmers market has decided to close the physical location on West Main Street and move things into a more safer format.
“The board of the Pickaway County Farmers Market has considered all the options and discussed this upcoming season. We are not going to open as a physical Farmers Market this year but plan to reopen the following year. We made this decision though with the interest of keeping vendors and our customers safe,” said the Market.
Instead of not offering the famers wears the market says they will go online and have pick up access.
“We will be in contact with our vendors though, and will ask them to send us pictures, information, and videos to share with you what they have to offer throughout the week each week all summer long. There will be the ability for you to shop from them and arrange delivery or pick up to keep everyone safe. This includes all vendors that were at the Farmers Market last year and a few new ones.”
Things will be different this year but its nice to know you can still get fresh local market. To see whats being offered check out the Pickaway County Farmers Market Page click here:https://www.facebook.com/PickawayCountyFarmersMarket/
