CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio, Aug. 16, 2024 — The grand opening of Get Wright, a new hemp store located on North Court Street, is making waves in Circleville, just as the City Council enforces a moratorium on recreational marijuana within the city limits.

Owner Jack Wright owns and operates five businesses in Columbus and has been involved in the smoke and hemp industries since 2001, is excited to introduce his store’s offerings. Wright explained that while his products closely resemble those available at dispensaries, they adhere to specific regulations set by the 2018 Farm Bill. These products contain less than the federally regulated limit of Delta-9 THC, but still offer similar effects due to their THCa content.

“Our products are designed to deliver effects comparable to those from dispensaries, but at a more affordable price,” Wright said. “We don’t have the heavy taxes associated with recreational marijuana, which allows us to offer better deals, we can sell 3.5 grams for an typical 2.8 grams elsewhere.”

Wright emphasized the store’s commitment to transparency and customer satisfaction. Unlike many dispensaries, Get Wright allows customers to inspect products in person before purchase. This approach contrasts with the often opaque practices of some marijuana retailers, where lab results might show low Delta-9 percentages, potentially confusing consumers about the actual potency.

“We provide a more hands-on shopping experience,” Wright noted. “Customers can see, touch, and smell the products before they buy, ensuring they get exactly what they want.”

The store’s product range includes flowers, edibles, pre-rolls, disposables, carts, and even THC-infused drinks and syringes. Wright also highlighted the difficulties of operating a hemp business amid federal restrictions, mentioning challenges with banking and payment systems.

Despite the legal and regulatory hurdles, Wright is optimistic about the store’s future. He sees it as a valuable resource for those seeking alternatives to high-taxed, regulated marijuana products. Get Wright is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Wright says that with the legalization of Recreational Marijuana he feels things are getting even more confusing for customers thats why he offers his person cell out there to answer questions directly to him so he can help people navigate the smoke world that number is 614-955-1045.
