PICKAWAY – After governors shut down new restrictions on shows and exhibitions in Pennsylvania a youth livestock expo from the state are looking to have the Expo here in Pickaway.
Slated to happen this weekend, Pickaway county fairgrounds will host the Pennsylvania Youth Livestock Expo, originally slated for Lebanon Penn.
The show will start on Thursday December 17th and run until Sunday December 20th.
According to the Facebook page not all contestants will make the trip
The livestock event will have sheep, goat, lambs, pigs, and cattle
This is not the first out of state event that has now come to Pickaway county fairgrounds. In the fall a Dairy expo came to the fairgrounds after shutdown restricted the show.
Lexie Mills, a member of the expo’s executive committee told Lancaster Farming that they had choices of venues in Maryland and other Ohio locations but because Pickaway county was so responsive and worked out for short notice it was chosen.
