Two Women Arrested on Drug-Related Charges in Chillicothe

Chillicothe, Ohio – On June 19, 2024, officers responded to a suspicious vehicle report in the area of Douglas Avenue and Jefferson. Upon investigation, two women, Tara Washington and Tina Crow, were arrested on drug-related charges.

According to the police report, officers observed drug paraphernalia, including a bent spoon with residue and a metal push rod, in Washington’s purse. A search of the vehicle revealed a glass pipe with residue and burn marks, as well as a rubber container with white residue.

Washington was found to be in possession of a white rock substance, later identified as crack cocaine, which she attempted to conceal and dispose of. She was charged with tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and other related offenses.

Crow, the driver, was found to be driving under a license forfeiture suspension and was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both women were transported to the Ross County Jail without incident. The drug paraphernalia was entered into property for destruction.

The investigation is ongoing, and further charges may be pending.
