WELLSTON – A 5-year-old was flown to Children’s Hospital after falling out of a moving car.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol the parents who live in Athens County told investigators the five year old escaped her booster seat while they were leaving a parking lot at Lake Alma State Park. She then climbed out the window and was hit by the car.
When first responders arrived on the scene they immediately called for a medical helicopter.
The incident is still under investigation
