Circleville, Ohio (March 1, 2024) – The 7 Mile Bluegrass Festival, known for its blend of top-notch bluegrass music and charitable giving, is moving to a spacious new location for its 2024 edition.
Fresh Start at Pickaway County Fairgrounds:
- After “running out of space” at their previous venue, the festival will now be held at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds in Circleville, Ohio.
- This new location offers several benefits, including:
- Increased capacity: Accommodating more festival-goers and enhancing the overall experience.
- Improved accessibility: Providing a more welcoming environment for attendees with disabilities.
- Indoor option: Offering shelter in case of inclement weather.
- Camping opportunities: Featuring 200 campsite hookups with water and electricity for a convenient stay.
Free Admission, Food Donation Entry:
- As always, the festival maintains its commitment to free admission.
- Attendees are encouraged to donate six non-perishable food items as their entry fee.
- The collected food will be assembled into baskets and donated to local homeless veterans.
- Any additional proceeds from the festival will be donated to the Veteran’s Administration in Chillicothe.
“After witnessing a family member who served our country, homeless, living under a bridge in Chillicothe, having lost everything. We became inspired to initiate a fundraiser to support veterans facing similar challenges,” shared Self, “The 7 Mile Bluegrass Festival is more than just music; it’s a community gathering and a show of support for our veterans.”
Musical Lineup and Event Dates:
- The 2024 festival will take place from July 25th to 27th, keeping the tradition of the previous location’s dates.
- Festival-goers can look forward to performances by The Grascals, Larry Gillis, Williamson Branch, Dave Adkins, Little Roy & Lizzy, the Kevin Prater Band, Tim Coffey, and of course, the host band, 7 Mile Bluegrass.
