Circleville, OH – The 7 Mile Bluegrass Festival has officially found its long-term venue at the Pickaway Agriculture & Event Center (PAEC), thanks to a new partnership between Bravo Bluegrass Rallies Against Veteran Poverty (BRAVO) and the Pickaway County Agricultural Society (PCAS). This agreement, announced on September 27, will ensure the annual festival continues to thrive while supporting veterans in need.

Established in 2019, BRAVO is a nonprofit dedicated to alleviating veteran poverty through its signature three-day bluegrass festival, which only requires attendees to bring six or more nonperishable food items as their admission fee. The festival has moved between various locations in South Central Ohio over the years, facing challenges such as limited camping facilities and accommodations for performers. However, after a successful debut at PAEC in July, which drew record crowds and received positive feedback, the festival is now set for a stable future.

The new partnership will allow PAEC to host the festival for the next five years, providing an ideal setting for both attendees and performers. As part of the agreement, PCAS will sponsor the festival through its annual Gun-A-Palooza fundraiser. Additionally, BRAVO plans to support Disabled Veterans Outdoors, an organization that offers outdoor activities for disabled veterans.

BRAVO President Billy Self expressed enthusiasm about the festival’s future, stating that the 2025 event will build on this year’s successes with even more enhancements and talent. “We’re committed to making each year better than the last,” he said. “We’ve received wonderful feedback and are excited to bring even more improvements to next year’s festival.”

Treasurer Ricky Loar added that significant updates are in store for 2025, emphasizing their commitment to listener feedback. “2025 is going to be incredible,” he remarked.

Christy Pence, Event Sales Coordinator for PAEC, praised BRAVO’s efforts during this year’s festival, noting the smooth execution and high-quality entertainment. “We’re thrilled to have them back and look forward to continuing this partnership for years to come,” she said.

As the festival expands, BRAVO extends gratitude to the sponsors, donors, and volunteers who make the event possible, highlighting their vital role in supporting veterans.

The 2025 7 Mile Bluegrass Festival is scheduled to take place at the Pickaway Agriculture & Event Center from July 24 to July 26.
