COLUMBUS – Police are looking to ID two suspects that shot an elderly man in Columbus Yesterday.
According to a press release on January 5, 2022, at 5:41pm, the 83-year-old victim was standing outside his vehicle in a carwash bay in the rear of Marathon, 6750 Refugee Rd. Two suspects approached the victim and demanded the victim’s car keys at gunpoint. The man tried to fend off the suspects and they shot him. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.
The victim is expected to survive his injuries.
