CIRCLEVILLE – Save-A-Lot celebrated its grand re-opening with a ribbon cutting Tuesday at the store at 24799 U.S. Route 23, Circleville. The event continues through this weekend with special prices as well as door prizes and giveaways on Saturday.
Matt Nichols, store manager, said the store remained open during renovations in the past few months that included adding 2,500 square feet to the sales floor and an expanded produce section.
“We also went through the aisles and brought in more variety of products, so we have a greater selection, a bigger produce selection, and we’re able to pass more savings along to the customers,” Nichols said.
Saturday is the last day for door prizes, which include items like rolled sausage and Eckrich bologna. The store also will give away a bicycle Saturday donated by Heiner’s Bakery and a 60-inch TV donated by the Circleville Rent-2-Own store.
To be eligible for the drawings, customers must write their name and phone number on a ticket obtained at the register and drop it into a box for the item they would like to win. Winners need not be present to win, but they must agree to have a promotional photo taken when receiving the prize, Nichols said.
In addition, Pepsi will be offering two lower floor seat tickets to a Columbus sporting event and three general admission tickets to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Winners for those items will be announced Feb. 13, Nichols said.
Save-A-Lot is owned by The Saver Group based in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
