– An employee from Taco Bell on U.S. Route 23 reported a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot with two occupants that had been there several hours. The juveniles were located and advised they were using the wifi. Checked OK.
– Extra patrol was requested in the 100 block of West High Street after a caller reported vehicles being ransacked while parked in the lot at the rear of the Elks.
– A resident in the 100 block of West Mound Street reported his vehicle had been ransacked overnight.
– A resident in the 300 block of South Court Street reported the theft of a golf cart. The cart is white with a canopy top and giraffe-pattern duct tape on the front and passenger side. The vehicle was entered into the LEADS system and was later recovered.
– A resident in the 200 block of South Scioto Street reported their vehicles had been ransacked overnight and several items were taken.
– A caller reported a bag left in the middle of U.S. Route 22 near OCU with blood coming out of it. Officers reported the bag was placed to the side of the roadway, and it contained paint debris. ODOT was advised.
– Officers responded to a property damage accident in the 300 block of West Main Street at the Welcome Center.
– Officers responded to a property damage accident at North Court Street and Morris Road.
– An employee at UDF on East Main Street reported a customer drove off without paying for their gas purchase. A report was taken.
– A resident in the 400 block of Sunnyview Drive reported wo bicycles were stolen from the property. A report was taken on theft.
– A resident in the 300 block of East Franklin Street reported the theft of money by a known subject.
– Officers responded to a property damage accident in the area of Ohio and Washington streets.
– A resident on Detroiter Avenue reported threats or harassment by a known subject. Officers located the subject and advised him to stop calling the complainant. A report was filed.
– A caller reported she was at the Duke and Duchess station on East Main Street when a man in a red hoodie asked for money. She said she saw him put his hand down his pants and was afraid he had a firearm, although none was observed. Officers were unable to locate the male.
– A resident in the 200 block of Logan Street reported telephone harassment. The subject was advised to have no further contact with the caller.
