February 9
– A deputy was requested to assist a Deer Creek park ranger at Deer Creek State Park, Mt. Sterling, in the lot of the lake spillway with a possible intoxicated driver. An arrest was made by the ODNR officer.
February 10
– Michael W. Mosbacker Jr., 25, of Circleville, was arrested for possession of drug abuse instruments and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia in the 13000 block of Tarlton Road after deputies were dispatched on a call regarding a domestic dispute.
– A resident in the 8000 block of state Route 316, Orient, reported her son was threatening her. She was advised how to obtain a protection order, and a report was taken on menacing.
– A 14-year-old male at Westfall Middle School on Pherson Pike, Williamsport, reportedly became upset and struck a teacher. A report was taken on an unruly child.
– A deputy responded to reports of trash dumping in the 17000 block of Little Walnut Road. A report was filed.
– A deputy and the canine unit Turpin assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol on a traffic stop on state Route 104 near state Route 316 for a free air narcotics check. The subject was issued a citation for the traffic violation by the state trooper.
– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 200 block of Crites Road, Circleville. The deputy was unable to locate the subjects.
– Caleb Gaus, 27, of Chillicothe, struck a deer while traveling on state Route 762. No injuries were reported.
– Nickolas Damron, 19, of Orient, was cited for failure to yield after he reportedly struck a vehicle driven by Charles McKenzie, 59, of Orient on London Road. Subjects were treated for injuries.
– Joseph M.J. Fleischmann, 24, of Orient, was arrested on a warrant of indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court on the original charge of theft and forgery.
– Chase M. Cookson, 24, of Amanda, was arrested on a warrant from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for a probation violation on the original charge of possession of heroin.
February 11
– Ashley M. Anderson, 25, of Ashville, was arrested for domestic violence in the 4000 block of Duvall Road after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute. Todd Mosher, 28, of Ashville, also was arrested at the scene for physical control of a vehicle.
– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 9000 block of Tarlton Road. A report was taken.
– Craig Severance, 39, of Chillicothe, was cited for failure to yield after he reportedly struck a vehicle driven by Joey Riley, 53, of Minford. Subjects were treated for injuries.
– A deputy responded to a property damage accident on Walnut Creek Pike in which Michael Williams, 55, of Circleville, was reportedly passing a vehicle on a double yellow line when the vehicle driven by Michael Whaley, 41, of Circleville, turned into him.
– Cheryl M. Adams, 26, of Columbus, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of driving under suspension.
February 12
– Eddie E. Rhodes, 35, of Amanda, was arrested for obstructing official business, and Keith J. Rhodes, 23, of Columbus, was arrested for warrants from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 6000 block of Tarlton Road.
– A resident in the 10000 block of Ashville Pike, Lockbourne, reported an unknown suspect entered her residence and stole some items. A report was taken on burglary and theft.
– A resident in the 6000 block of Hagerty Road, Ashville, reported someone had entered an outbuilding on his property and stolen several items. A report was taken on breaking and entering and theft.
– Harry G. Stamaty Jr., 40, of Galloway, was arrested in the 13000 block of London Road for violation of a protection order.
– Richard A. Bowens, 25, of Kentucky, was arrested for failure to comply with a police officer, assault on the canine unit Turpin, trafficking in heroin, possession of crack cocaine and possession of cocaine on Goodchild Road south of Circle Lane.
– An employee at Walmart reported that a suspect had passed counterfeit $100 bills. A report was taken on counterfeit money.
– Brian Garvine, 44, of Ashville, reportedly lost control of his vehicle in the snow on Ashville Pike and slid off the roadway into a ditch. No injuries were reported.
– Corey Bryant, 17, of Circleville, reportedly lost traction in the snow on Tarlton Adelphi Road and slid into a culvert. No injuries were reported.
– Lora Gall, 29, of Orient, reportedly lost control in the snow on Darby Creek Road and slid off the roadway, striking a tree. Subjects were treated for injuries.
– A deputy responded to reports of an unknown vehicle that slid off the roadway on London Road and damaged two mailbox posts, then drove off without reporting the accident. A report was taken on a property damage hit-skip.
– Terry L. Glispie, 53, of South Bloomingville, was arrested on an attachment for contempt issued from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for failure to pay child support.
February 13
– A resident in the 4000 block of South Bloomfield – Royalton Road, Ashville, reported an unknown vehicle had driven through his yard causing damage. A report was taken on criminal damage.
– An employee at Hill’s Supply on U.S. Route 22 East reported someone had stolen about 200 pieces of piping from the business. A report was taken on theft.
– A resident in the 30000 block of state Route 180, Laurelville, reported a known suspect had stolen several jewelry items and pawned them at Cash Land. A report was taken on theft.
– A resident in the 13000 block of Spangler Road, Laurelville, reported an unknown subject has stolen several items from her home. A report was taken on burglary and theft.
– Bobby Young, 62, of South Bloomfield, struck a deer while traveling on Kingston Pike. No injuries were reported.
– James E. Hampson, 35, of Lancaster, was arrested on a warrant of indictment for the original charge of non-support of dependents.
– Jeremy R. Cahill, 30, of Ashville, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of driving under suspension.
February 14
– A resident in the 30 block of South Church Street, New Holland, reported an unknown subject had entered the residence and removed items. A report was taken on burglary and theft.
– Christopher A. Salyers, 34, listed as homeless, was arrested for theft at Walmart.
– A resident in the 20000 block of Greist Road, Stoutsville, reported an unknown subject had smashed his mailbox. A report was taken on criminal damaging.
– An employee at Logan Elm Health Care on Tarlton Road reported someone had broken out the window on the health care bus. A report was taken on vandalism.
– Levi Jones, 21, of New Holland, struck a deer while traveling on State Park Road. No injuries were reported.
– Paul Hobbs, 60, of Jackson, reportedly struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Sheri Keefe, 48, of Ashville, on U.S. Route 23. No injuries were reported.
– Alex Matier, 34, of Chillicothe, advised he came into a white-out during the snow storm while driving on U.S. Route 23 and struck a vehicle driven by Eric Hootman, 25, of Ashville. No injuries were reported.
– Thomas Smith, 28, of Grove City, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after he reportedly struck a vehicle driven by Sarita Tucker, 29, of Medina, on state Route 104. Tucker was cited for a child restraint violation. No injuries were reported.
– Robert Staten, 20, of Mt. Sterling, reported he was unable to see during the snow storm and struck a vehicle driven by Carl Lowe, 63, of Orient on U.S. Route 62. No injuries were reported.
– Kevin Posey, 44, of Frankfort, advised he lost control of his vehicle on U.S. Route 62 and struck a vehicle driven by Zachary Siefker, 21, of Grafton. No injuries were reported.
– Nathan K. Groves, 27, of Circleville, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of failure to reinstate.
February 15
– Jason Gray, 28, of Circleville, was cited for failure to control after he advised he fell asleep and struck a guardraiil on North Court Street. No injuries were reported.
– Daniel Cales, 20, of Grove City, was cited for failure to control after he reportedly ran off the roadway on Darby Creek Road and struck a row of trees. No injuries were reported.
– Joseph Hensley, 30, of Columbus, was cited for OVI, driving under suspension and speed when he lost control of his vehicle on U.S. Route 23, going off the roadway and then trying to continue on. No injuries were reported.
– Sean W. Blue, 23, of Ashville, was arrested on an attachment for contempt issued from Pickaway County Juvenile Court for failure to pay child support.
February 16
– Matthew Cross, 36, of Hillsboro, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when he struck a vehicle driven by Edward Eppick, 72, of Columbus, on U.S. Route 23. Subjects were treated for injuries.
– Haily Adams, 17, of Tarlton, advised she lost control of her vehicle and went off the roadway on Tarlton Adelphi Road, striking a ditch. The vehicle came to rest on its side. No injuries were reported.
– Devin Stove, 19, of Stoutsville, reportedly attempted a left turn onto Sperry Drive from U.S. Route 23 when he was struck by a vehicle driven by David Freeze Jr., 39, of Coalton. Subjects were treated for injuries.
– Joshua Dountz, 34, of Mt. Sterling, reportedly lost control of his vehicle approaching a curve and slid off the roadway on Scioto Darby Road, striking a mile post sign and utility pole. No injuries were reported.
– David Riffle, 31, of Stoutsville, reported he slid off the snowy roadway on Stoutsville Pike, striking a tree. No injuries were reported.
– MacKenzie Delorge, 21, of Saginaw, Michigan, reported he lost control of his vehicle in the snow on Jackson Road and went off the roadway, striking a deep ditch. Subjects were treated for injuries.
