April 2

– A resident in the 10000 block of Lockbourne Eastern Road reported someone stole a real estate sign from his front yard. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 5000 block of Mill Street, Orient, reported receiving unwanted text messages from a known subject. A report was taken on telephone harassment.

– An employee at Walmart reported a found purse that contained marijuana inside. A misdemeanor summons was issued to the suspect.

– A deputy responded to reports of a suspicious person in the 5000 block of Horseshoe Drive, Orient.

– Jay Skomra, 47, of Chillicothe, struck a deer while traveling on state Route 104. No injuries were reported.

– Conin Kurtis Cookson, 23, of Ashville, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of driving under suspension.

– Eric E. Mustard, 25, of Chillicothe, was arrested on a warrant from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for a violation of probation on the original charge of possession of heroin.

– Roger D. Fleming Jr., 30, of Ashville, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court on the original charge of assault.

April 3

– A resident in the 7000 block of Ludwig Dresbach Road reported someone had taken a chainsaw from his garage. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– Jessica L. Foraker, 27, of Circleville, was arrested for theft after the Smart Style Salon inside Walmart reported money missing.

– A resident in the 13000 block of Era Road, Mt. Sterling, reported an unknown person had been in her barn. A report was taken on trespassing.

– A deputy responded to the 13000 block of Tenny Road, Mt. Sterling, on a custody issue.

– A deputy responded to a property damage accident in the 10000 block of Bulen Pierce Road, Lockbourne, in which a mailbox was damaged.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 2000 block of Arapaho Drive, Circleville.

– A deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office at 600 Island Road to take a complaint on a person.

– A deputy was dispatched to the 15000 block of Matville Road, Orient, on a complaint on a person.

– A deputy and the canine unit, Turpin, were requested to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol on a traffic stop on U.S. Route 23 near milepost 12, Circleville. Turpin was requested to conduct a free air narcotic check around the vehicle, but the dog did not indicate on the vehicle.

– Kelly Valentine of Circleville reported a vehicle backed into his while he was parked at Circleville Plaza and then left the scene. A report was taken on a property damage hit-skip accident.

– David Delong, 49, of Circleville, advised an oncoming vehicle went left of center on state Route 56, and to avoid a crash, he ran off the roadway into a ditch. The other vehicle then left the scene. A report was taken.

April 4

– An employee at Walmart reported a known subject was caught leaving the store without paying for items. The female subject will be summoned into court on a charge of theft.

– Hannah E. Roach, 19, of Columbus, and Keiran M. Roach-Gatwood, 25, of Columbus, were arrested for domestic violence in the 10000 block of Borror Road.

– A deputy responded to reports of a possible overdose in the 20000 block of Ringgold Southern Road. The victim was transported to the Berger Hospital emergency room.

– A deputy was dispatched with Harrison Township EMS for an emergency squad run in the 9900 block of Shepherd Road, Lockbourne. The subject was transported to the hospital.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 11000 block of Hayesville Road, Kingston.

– A deputy and the canine unit, Marko, assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol on a traffic stop on Main Street in Circleville. Marko was requested to conduct a free air narcotic check around the vehicle. No drugs were found.

– A deputy and the canine unit, Marko, were requested to assist the Circleville Police Department on a complaint of a person under the influence on Court Street in Circleville. Marko was deployed, and the suspect surrendered.

– A deputy responded with the Harrison Township EMS on an emergency squad run in the 10600 block of state Route 762, Lockbourne. The subject was transported to the hospital.

– Juan Rivers, 49, of Kissimmee, Florida, was cited for failure to control after his semi went off the roadway on U.S. Route 23, striking an embankment.

– A 17-year-old driver advised he was pulling out of private property on Tarlton Road and was struck by another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle left the scene. No injuries were reported.

– Doreen Lambert, 53, of Williamsport, and Cierra Dooley, 24, of South Bloomfield reported they both attempted to back out of a parking space at the same time on private property on South Court Street and struck each other. No injuries were reported.

– Jay Wippel, 48, of Orient, advised a dog ran out in front of him on state Route 316 and was struck by his vehicle.

April 5

– A deputy responded to reports of domestic violence in the 25000 block of Egypt Pike. No injuries were reported, and no charges were filed.

– A resident in the 7000 block of state Route 188 reported prowlers and a gun discharging.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 1000 block of U.S. Route 22 West, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 20000 block of U.S. Route 23, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a vehicle and a damaged mailbox in the 2000 block of Pine Drive, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 9900 block of Shepherd Road, Lockbourne.

– Paul Martineau, 35, of Gahanna, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when he struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Heather Groce, 40, of Columbus, on U.S. Route 23. No injuries were reported.

– Brianna Chatfield, 21, of Grove City, advised her vehicle went off the roadway on Bulen Pierce Road and struck a blacktop driveway. No injuries were reported.

April 6

– A deputy responded to reports of domestic violence in the 12000 block of Walnut Creek Pike, Ashville. No injuries were reported, and no charges were filed.

– A resident in the 11000 block of Ashville Pike reported someone stole the batteries out of two of her vehicles. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A resident in the 300 block of Spruce Street, Williamsport, reported someone entered her residence and took money from her safe. A computer belonging to another victim also was reported stolen. A report was taken on burglary.

– A resident in the 2000 block of Cornstalk Avenue, Ashville, reported someone had already filed taxes in his name. A report was taken on identity theft.

– A resident in the 23000 block of Huber Hitler Road reported someone had used his Social Security number to file taxes. A report was taken on identity theft.

– A resident in the 200 block of South East Street, New Holland, reported problems with his 15-year-old son. A report was taken on an unruly child.

– A deputy responded to reports of domestic violence in the 100 block of West Front Street, New Holland. No charges were filed.

– A resident in the 5000 block of Mill Street, Orient, reported an unknown subject broken windows and wood off a barn. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A deputy responded to reports of trash dumping at Mackey Ford Wildlife Area on state Route 762. An unknown person had dumped three bags of papers under the bridge.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm on Hayesville Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 2000 block of Pine Drive, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 10000 block of U.S. Route 22 West, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a vehicle in the 24000 block of U.S. Route 23, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 18000 block of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to reports of a gun being discharged in the 9000 block of Rhode Island Way, Orient.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 10000 block of Scioto Darby Road, Orient.

– Joyce Stewart, 65, of Ashville, and Jonathon Satterfield, 27, of Grove City, both advised they were struck by the other vehicle while traveling on U.S. Route 23. The at-fault vehicle was unable to be determined. No injuries were reported.

– Jason Graf, 38, of Laurelville, advised he went off the side of the road on state Route 56 and struck a wooden fence post. No injuries were reported.
