– The owner of Royal Gardens reported he made a deposit at the bank, and a $100 bill came back as counterfeit.
– South Central Power advised electricity had been shut off at a lot in the 10000 block of state Route 762, Lockbourne, and a technician discovered it had been turned back on. A report was taken on theft.
– A resident in the 13000 block of Walker Road, Ashville, reported an unknown person used his identification to file income taxes. A report was taken on identity theft.
– An employee at Logan Elm High School reported an unruly child. The situation was handled by the school.
– A resident in the 16000 block of Walnut Creek Pike, Ashville, reported that her son was assaulted a year ago by a known subject. A report was taken on assault.
– A resident in the 10000 block of state Route 762, Lockbourne, reported lug nuts were loose on one of his tires, and one had snapped off. A report was taken on criminal damage.
– A deputy responded to reports of a suspicious person/vehicle in the 23000 block of Keys Road, Williamsport. The subject was identified and checked OK.
– A deputy responded to reports of an injured deer in the 5000 block of state Route 674, Ashville. The deer was euthanized and released to a subject at the scene with a deer carcass report.
– Deputies responded to a domestic dispute on East Street, New Holland.
– Dinah Smith, 67, of Lockbourne, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Jane Nease, 58, of Canal Winchester, on state Route 762. No injuries were reported.
– Larry Lindsey, 62, of Orient, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Joseph Haygood, 32, of Lynchburg, on U.S. Route 62. No injuries were reported.
– Jeremy P. Coleman, 28, of Chillicothe, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of driving under suspension.
– Stacy Ann Dailey, 38, of Londonderry, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of possession of drug instruments.
April 8
– A resident in the 5000 block of Stevens Drive, Orient, reported someone entered his home while he was away and stole a gun. A report was taken on burglary.
– A resident on Main Street in Tarlton reported someone had kicked in doors to an abandoned residence and stole some items. A report was taken on breaking and entering.
– A resident in the 500 block of Mapleview Lane reported she sold an item on eBay and never received money for it.
– A resident in the 19000 block of Whiteside Road, Mt. Sterling, reported an unknown person broke into a vacant residence, but nothing appeared to be missing. A report was taken on breaking and entering.
– A resident in the 4000 block of Duvall Road, Ashville, reported someone broke the lock off his shed and stole miscellaneous tools. A report was taken on breaking and entering.
– Scott A. Hill, 30, of Circleville, was arrested for theft at Walmart.
– A deputy responded to reports of a vehicle and camper fire in the 1000 block of Shoshoni Drive, Circleville. The Pickaway Township and Circleville Fire departments battled the blaze.
– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 5000 block of Riverview Road, Williamsport.
– Deputies were dispatched to U.S. Route 23 at Orr Road on a possible disabled vehicle. The Pickaway Township squad was then dispatched to the scene and transported a subject to the hospital.
– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 1400 block of South Court Street. The property was taken to the sheriff’s office for safekeeping.
– A deputy responded to reports of an unruly juvenile in the 6000 block of state Route 762.
– A deputy responded to an activated alarm on Main Street in Commercial Point. Contact was made with the keyholder, and everything checked OK.
– Darcy J. Roberts, 40, of Lynchburg, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of driving under suspension.
