CIRCLEVILLE – Pickaway County is hosting a tire collection day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Pickaway County Engineer’s garage, 1660 Island Road.
Residents may dispose of up to four passenger tires (or equivalent) per person or vehicle for free at that time.
Charges will apply for additional passenger and light truck tires at $1.60 each; 19.5″ to 24.5″ at $6 each; duplex or semi at $12 each; rear farm at $20 each; and off road/OTR at $25 each. Other miscellaneous tires will be priced on site.
The event is sponsored by the Ross, Pickaway, Highland and Fayette Solid Waste Management District, and the tires will be recycled through Sun Down Tires Recycling.
