PICKAWAY COUNTY – For just one 24-hour period, Pickaway County may earn a piece of a $1.3 million dollar bonus pool. A unique opportunity will present itself to our community, and the Pickaway County Community Foundation (PCCF) is truly excited that your dollars will be working hard from 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, through 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 13.
Donors will be able to give securely using a major credit card with a minimum $20. One-hundred percent of every credit card donation will go straight to the PCCF as part of The Columbus Foundation’s “The Big Give” online giving event. Further, donations will be eligible for a match from a bonus pool of $1.3 million dollars made available through The Columbus Foundation and its community partners, who will also be covering all credit card fees.
“While any contribution is welcome and needed, this is a special event which can maximize the donated dollar,” said Michael Linton, the current chair of the PCCF. “Our board is hoping the community recognizes the importance of our organization and considers being generous.”
The Foundation desires to expand its impact in the community by hiring an executive director who will be tasked with meeting donors’ needs and ensuring the integrity of the Foundation’s mission: enhancing our county through philanthropy.
Donations may be made, and more information obtained, by visiting http://tcfapp.org/search and typing in “Pickaway County Community Foundation.” For questions, contact Steven Moore at 614-251-4000.
