Sharon Jo-Anne Shepherd, 70, of Stoutsville, died Monday, May 25, 2015, after a brief illness.
She was born on Sept. 28, 1944, in Albion, Michigan, to Joseph and Viola (Hunt) Collins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, David Collins; younger sister, Emily Wheaton; and granddaughter, Cynthia Hawk.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Claude Shepherd; daughters, Lisa Hawk McCabe of Stoutsville and Cindy (Dan) Boggs of South Webster; son, Craig (Candy) Shepherd of Grove City; granddaughters, Christina (Caleb) Wellman of Circleville, Nicole Elisabeth Shepherd of Frankfort and Hunter Hawk of Williamsport; grandsons, Jay (Maymee) and Greg (Susie) Colburn of Grove City; great-grandchildren, Robby Cox and Emma Wellman of Circleville; brother, Joey (Ginny) Collins; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Bonnie, Lonnie, Cleo and Ann; and by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2015, at the Wellman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hitler Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
