Giovanni M. “John” Avellino, 43, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015.
He was born on Aug. 13, 1971, in Cambridge, England.
John was preceded in death by grandmother, Anna Cirillo; niece, Giuseppa Avellino; and brother-in-law, Nick Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Davis) Avellino; son, John Anthony James Avellino; his mother, Giuseppa “Josie” Hatfield; siblings, Maria (Donny) Ridlon, Luigi (Tanya) Avellino, Mike Avellino, Joshua (Jessica) Davis and Matthew (Danielle) Horn; grandparents, Domenico Cirillo, Ted (Barb) Davis and Herbert (Garnett) Horn; in-laws, Toni (Jeff) Smith and Sam (Jodi) Horn; and by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and family.
Funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at the Wellman Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
