June 17

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a person in the 9900 block of Shepherd Road, Lockbourne. No one was located, and nothing was disturbed or missing.

June 18

– A resident in the 1000 block of Kingston Pike reported an unknown person stole her wedding rings from her residence. A report was taken on theft.

– A victim in the 1400 block of South Court Street reported she bought a cell phone from someone and later found out it was stolen. A report was taken on recovered property.

– Malcolm M. Turner, 23, of Maineville, was arrested for receiving stolen property, tampering with evidence and possession of marijuana after marijuana and a gun were located during a traffic stop on state Route 104.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on U.S. Route 23 at Route 22. Contact was made, and the subject was identified and transported to a safe location.

– A resident in the 200 block of South Court Street, Circleville, reported harassment. No charges were filed.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 1400 block of South Court Street. The property was taken to the sheriff’s office for safekeeping.

– A resident in the 1700 block of Main Street, Ringgold, reported a road rage complaint. Contact was made with both parties.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 6000 block of Ludwig Dresbach Road, Circleville. The property was taken to the sheriff’s office.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 4000 block of state Route 361, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint of a vehicle in the roadway on Dungan Road, Circleville. The officer assisted the driver with the vehicle, and the subject was placed under arrest by the Chillicothe Police Department and transported to Ross County on a warrant.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 19000 block of Pherson Pike, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a vehicle complaint in the 4000 block of state Route 361, Circleville.

– David Townsend, 46, of Circleville, advised a tree limb fell in front of his car on state Route 56, and when he swerved to miss it, he struck a fence and utility pole. No injuries were reported.

– Dwight Conrad, 73, of London, entered the intersection at Crites Road and was struck by a vehicle driven by Ronald Redmon, 26, of Circleville. No injuries were reported.

– Nicholas R. Miller, 32, was arrested for a violation of probation on the original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

– Cory A. Doll, 24, was arrested for failure to appear for the original charge of possession of drugs.

June 19

– A resident in the 15000 block of state Route 56 West, Mt. Sterling, reported someone took food items from his residence. A report was taken on burglary.

– Lindsey E. Cook, 23, was arrested for theft at Walmart.

– An employee of Demint Trucks and Cars on North Court Street reported someone cut the exhaust system off a vehicle and took it. A report was taken on theft.

– George K. Heeter, 46, of Circleville, will be issued a summons to appear in court on a charge of theft from Walmart.

– Ralph G. Rose Jr., 43, of Ashville, will be issued a summons to appear in court on a charge of theft from Walmart.

– Nerisa J. Rogers, 36, of Ashville, was arrested for theft at Walmart.

– A deputy responded to the report of an open door in the 11000 block of state Route 56, Circleville. The keyholder arrived, and nothing was disturbed. The door was secured.

– A deputy responded to reports of a suspicious person in the 17000 block of Clarridge Drive, Mt. Sterling. The subject’s vehicle was broken down, and he was being helped by a neighbor. The caller was made aware of the situation.

– A deputy responded to reports of goats in the roadway in the 17000 block of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling. Contact was made with the owner of the goats.

– A deputy responded to a juvenile complaint in the 13000 block of U.S. Route 62, Mt. Sterling.

– A free air narcotics search was performed by the canine unit, Marko, at the Pickaway County Jail. No drugs were found.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on state Route 104, Ashville.

– A vehicle driven by Ethan Copeland, 35, of Washington Court House, was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Kristin N. Seitz, 31, of Circleville, while waiting to turn at the light at state Route 56 and state Route 104.

– Carleen M. Kemp, 36, was arrested for failure to appear for the original charge of attempted possession of drugs.

– Jason J. Gallamore, 38, was arrested for failure to appear for the original charge of OVI.

June 20

– A resident in the 8000 block of Larkspur Drive, Orient, reported someone stole her vehicle and wrecked it at another location. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 100 block of South Water Street, Williamsport, reported a juvenile threw someone and cracked his window. A report was taken.

– Alton D. Burchett, 21, of Ashville, was issued a misdemeanor summons for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 23 near Huston Street.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of Silvermaple Lane, Commercial Point. The deputy met with the homeowner and determined it was accidental.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 5000 block of state Route 762, Commercial Point. The keyholder arrived, and the property was secured.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on Patriot Avenue in Orient.

– A deputy responded to reports of an unruly juvenile in the 200 block of South East Street, New Holland.

– A 16-year-old Ashville male was cited for failure to control after he swerved to miss an animal in the roadway on South Bloomfield Royalton Road and lost control, going off the side of the road and striking a utility pole, breaking it off. No injuries were reported.

– Matthew D. Fields, 28, of Williamsport, reported his vehicle hydroplaned and went off the right side of the roadway on London Road, running into the ditch. No injuries were reported.

– A 17-year-old juvenile from Laurelville was traveling westbound on Stoutsville Pike and lost control of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

– An unknown driver struck a vehicle driven by Michelle L. Phillips, 43, of Williamsport, which in turn hit a vehicle driven by John C. Baird Jr., 68, of Lancaster. The unknown driver of the at-fault vehicle left the scene. A report was taken on a non-injury accident.

June 21

– A resident in the 6000 block of Old Tarlton Pike reported an unknown person damaged his mailbox. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– Matthew A. Amann, 30, of Circleville, was arrested for possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 400 block of Apache Drive after a caller reported her son was using drugs.

– A resident in the 10000 block of Splitrock Court, Orient, reported an unknown person got into his property that is currently under construction, but nothing appeared to be missing at this time. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A 15-year-old and 14-year-old were reportedly caught stealing items from Walmart. They were released to the custody of their parents and will be issued summons to appear in court.

– Two 16-year-old juveniles were observed taking items at Walmart. They were released to their grandmother.

– A caller in the 20000 block of U.S. Route 23, Circleville, reported an unknown person stole a computer tablet from their office. A report was taken on theft.

– A deputy responded to an incident with a vehicle headed northbound on U.S. Route 23 at Big Walnut Creek, Lockbourne. A Franklin County deputy also arrived on the scene, and the Hamilton Township squad responded and transported the subject to the hospital.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 9000 block of Taylor Road, Orient. No charges were filed.

– A deputy responded to reports of a suspicious person in the 14000 block of Crownever Mill Road, New Holland. Contact was made with all parties, and everything checked OK.

– Glenn R. Elder, 54, of Columbus, swerved to miss a vehicle in his lane on Lockbourne Eastern Road and lost control of his vehicle, going off the right side of the roadway. No injuries were reported.

– Jo L. Wilford, 63, of Circleville, struck a deer while traveling on state Route 56 East. No injuries were reported.

June 22

– A resident in the 8000 block of Hollyhock Lane, Orient, reported an unknown person kicked in the front door of his residence, and some money was missing. A report was taken on burglary.

– A resident in the 4000 block of Pineview Drive reported a phone scam, but nothing was missing from his accounts at this time. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 8000 block of Trimmer Road, Stoutsville, reported an unknown person had used her card number to make purchases. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 300 block of South Main Street, New Holland, reported a case of identity theft.

– An employee from Walmart reported a subject had stolen an item from the store. Charges are pending.

– An employee at Split Road Golf Course on Scioto Darby Road reported he located three males on the property. A report was taken on trespassing.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 12000 block of state Route 56 East, Circleville. The scene checked OK.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 13000 block of U.S. Route 22 West, New Holland.

– A deputy responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 3000 block of state Route 762, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on North Redding Street.

– A deputy responded to complaints of vehicles speeding in the 6000 block of South Bloomfield Royalton Road, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 100 block of Marshall Drive, Circleville. The subject was transported to the hospital.

– A deputy responded to a property dispute in the 13000 block of Era Road, Mt. Sterling.

– Tiffany R. McConahay, 34, was arrested for two counts of identity fraud.

– David Porter, 54, was arrested for two counts of failure to pay child support.

June 23

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 20000 block of U.S. Route 23, Circleville. The keyholder arrived on the scene, and everything checked secure.
