– A caller reported a male subject in a vehicle in the area of West Mill Street and South Scioto Street who appeared to be smoking some type of pipe in the vehicle. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Circleville Fire Department. Dispatch made contact by phone, and the scene checked OK.
– A 911 caller reported a male in the 1100 block of South Court street was outside pointing an AR-15 weapon at another subject outside a residence. Officers located the subject and advised it was an airsoft gun. He was advised, and the scene checked OK.
– Officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Lawnwood Drive. Officers made contact with the subject, who advised she would find somewhere else to park.
– A resident in the 200 block of Logan Street reported someone cut some sort of utility line and left it lying in front of his home. Officers determined it appeared to be a ground wire, and AEP was notified.
– A resident came to the police station to report a theft at Classic Carry Out on East Main Street. A report was taken.
– The Columbus Police Department requested an officer make contact with a male subject who was determined to be an inmate at the Pickaway County Jail. The jail staff and the caller were notified.
– A resident in the 100 block of East Franklin Street reported a known male subject was causing problems at the residence. The male left prior to the officer’s arrival. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.
– Officers responded to an activated medical alarm in the 300 block of Lawnwood Drive. The subject reported it was accidental, and no assistance was needed.
– A resident in the 100 block of Caroline Court reported her neighbors were fighting, and she believed the male was hitting the female. Officers advised there was no domestic dispute, and a juvenile left the scene with her father.
– Extra patrol was requested in the 300 block of Weldon Avenue after a caller reported her ex-husband was making threats. Information was obtained.
– An Amanda resident reported she was struck by a vehicle in the area of Lancaster Pike and Nicholas Drive, and the vehicle left the scene. The caller was transported to Berger Hospital, and a report was taken on an injury hit-skip.
– A resident in the 400 block of Abernathy Avenue reported a neighbor’s dog attempted to bite him and another person. The dog warden was notified, and the owner was contacted and advised.
– Extra patrol was requested in the 800 block of South Washington Street after a caller reported threats by a known subject.
– A resident in the 300 block of Eva Drive came to the police station to report some rings had been stolen from her residence. A report was taken on theft.
– Officers responded to three 911 calls from the 200 block of West Union Street for a domestic dispute over a TV. A medic was dispatched for a subject with a dog bite, and a report was taken on disorderly conduct.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of Sycamore Drive. The scene checked OK.
– A resident on McCullough Avenue reported she heard her neighbor yelling at a female and sounds like he was either pushing her or hitting a wall. The female subject who was causing the problem left when asked prior to the officer’s arrival. The scene checked OK.
– A juvenile came to the police station to report a known subject pulled up to her and her boyfriend while they were walking on East Franklin Street and got into a fist fight with her. The juvenile was advised to have one of her parents come to the police station for a report. The other female was contacted and denied any altercation occurred.
– Officers responded to reports of a suspicious male in the 400 block of South Court Street whom the caller reported picked something up out of the neighbor’s yard and left when he realized he was being watched. A report was taken on theft.
– A resident in the 500 block of Willow Lane reported someone hacked her computer and stole $35 from her daughter’s account for her phone. Officers determined no theft occurred, and it was an attempted scam.
– A 911 caller reported his bicycle had been stolen from in front of Carnival Foods on Morris Road. The bicycle was returned.
– A resident in the 200 block of East Franklin Street reported two male juveniles had been yelling at each other, and he was concerned because he heard one of them say, “Well, at least I’m not a rapist.” The officer checked the area but was unable to locate the subjects.
– An employee at UDF on East Main Street reported the theft of beer from the store and four male subjects outside. Officers made contact with the subjects, and a report was taken on theft.
