Alma Harr, age 93, of Orient, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015.
She was born Oct. 6, 1921, In South Shore, Kentucky.
She moved to Columbus with her husband, Enoch, and then to Orient. They were longtime members of Orient Independent Church. Alma retired from Buckeye Steel, then at Sunshine Cleaners, before staying home to raise her children.
She loved to travel, play bingo with her niece and friend, and spend time at her daughter’s home on the lake. Alma always looked forward to family reunions, holidays and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Enoch; and son, Donald Sr.
Alma is survived by her children, Nina Curtsinger, Harold “Bud” (Peg) Harr and Jeff (Tina) Harr; grandchildren, Kim, Don Jr. “Ace”, Jeremy, Landon and Makayla; as well as several great-grandchildren.
Family will greet friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, 331 West Main St., Mount Sterling. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Darbyville Cemetery.
