August 8
– A resident in the 100 block of Dunmore Road reported a burglary at the residence. The caller advised he had already been through the residence. A report was taken.
– A resident in the 500 block of East Ohio Street reported a police German Shepherd had been barking non-stop for two hours. Officers were unable to locate the canine.
– A caller reported a male subject was passed out in the rear alley in the 500 block of North Court Street. Officers requested a squad for possible alcohol poisoning, and the subject was transported to Berger Hospital. A report was taken.
– A caller reported a known male subject drove away from a residence on Parklawn Avenue and was bragging about having a gun in his truck. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Scioto Valley Coffee on West Main Street. The scene checked OK.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of West Ohio Street. The scene checked OK.
– A caller requested an officer to clear up confusion about a city permit for a special function at the Second Baptist Church on West Mill Street.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Pickaway Dialysis Center on North Court Street. The scene checked OK.
– A resident in the 400 block of South Pickaway Street requested an officer due to a grandchild banging and throwing rocks at the windows. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.
– A resident in the 200 block of Logan Street reported a handicap scooter was parked in her back yard. A report was taken on found property.
– A resident in the 700 block of Dunkle Road reported a theft occurred at CVS Pharmacy.

– A pharmacist at CVS reported a male subject harassing customers for money. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 300 block of East Ohio Street. The scene checked OK.
– A resident in the 200 block of Walnut Street reported a trash can dispute with a neighbor. He was advised if he continued using her garbage can, he would be charged with theft of services. No report was taken.
– A 911 caller reported an assault in the 100 block of Rustic Drive. A report was taken on disorderly conduct.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Nationwide Insurance on East Main Street. The scene checked OK.
– An officer was flagged down due to a disabled vehicle at PNC Bank on East Main Street. The vehicle was pushed to a parking spot and would be retrieved in the morning.
– A 911 caller reported a disabled vehicle in the roadway on Route 22 west of Brookhill Lane. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
– A caller reported a hit-skip accident on Route 22 at Speedway. A report was taken.
– Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 600 block of East Main Street. A report was taken.
August 9
– A caller reported three suspicious males near the tennis courts and maintenance shed in the area of Nicholas Square. Officers made contact with a male subject, and he checked OK.
– A caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly in the area of Main and Scioto streets. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
– A resident in the 200 block of Walnut Street reported he returned home and noticed a male in his residence, and he told the male to leave. A report was taken on breaking and entering.
– A resident in the 500 block of Gumm Place reported someone kept knocking on his door, and when he answers it, no one is there. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.
– A caller reported a male subject was asleep outside in the 100 block of South Scioto Street and he was not supposed to be on the property. The subject was located and advised to move along.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of Lancaster Pike. The scene checked OK.
– Officers responded to reports of a minor property damage accident at CVS on East Main Street.
– Officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 500 block of East Ohio Street. A report was taken.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Head Start in the 100 block of East Corwin Street. The call was canceled by the alarm company.
– A caller reported he was chased by a dog in the area of Abernathy and East Union streets. Officers were unable to locate the dog.
– The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office advised of a possibly intoxicated driver passed out under a van at Buckeye Station westbound on Route 22. Officers performed a traffic stop and advised the driver was having a medical issue. His wife would be driving him home.
– Officers responded to a 911 call from the Eagles on East Main Street in which the dispatcher could hear yelling in the background. No report was taken.
– James A. Norris Jr. of Lancaster was arrested for aggravated menacing in the 100 block of East Main Street after a caller reported three males were at the location threatening her.
– A resident in the 100 block of Rustic Drive reported her neighbor’s child was cussing at her. No report was taken, and all parties were advised to leave each other alone.
– A 911 caller reported a fight in the 100 block of Lowery Lane. A report was taken on domestic violence.
– The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office advised of an open 911 call in the 900 block of South Pickaway Street in which a female was crying in the background and a male was yelling. Officers advised the situation involved child custody, and it was a misunderstanding. The scene checked OK.
– A resident in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike reported two males yelling at each other nearby. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.
– A caller reported one of the northbound trains at the tracks on South Pickaway Street lost some of its cars, blocking the intersection. Norfolk Southern was advised. The officer on the scene advised the train didn’t lose any cars, and railroad employees advised there was a male standing in the middle of the tracks on South Court Street, so the train went into emergency stop mode. A report was taken on trespassing.
– A caller reported a male and female inside the Kroger store on Lancaster Pike who were pulling tags off sunglasses. The subjects paid for the property and have been banned from all Kroger stores.
– A caller reported several middle school children outside yelling in the area, and it was an ongoing problem. The caller stated the parents were usually outside yelling as well. Officers made contact with a juvenile and a parent, and a report was taken on an unruly juvenile.
