Sharon Sue Umina, 70, of Kingston, died 11:49 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born Oct. 4, 1944, in Chillicothe, to the late Chester V. and Virginia R. Mullins Kempton.
On Sept. 7, 1974, she married William Umina, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Brent L. Umina of Chillicothe; nephews, Eric (Lori) Kempton and Greg (Lynne) Kempton; and nieces, Lori (David) Burkitt and Sarah (Brian) Rittenour.
She was predeceased by a brother, Larry Kempton.
Sharon attended Our Savior Lutheran Church. She had worked at the former Ross County Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, in the Ware Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Mallet officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
