Vickey L. Ramsey, 52, of Ray, died unexpectedly Friday morning, Sept. 11, 2015, in East Harbor State Park Campground, Marblehead, Ohio.
She was born Jan. 25, 1963, in Columbus, to Donald and Jenny Thompson Sprouse.
On April 21, 1982, she married Scott A. Ramsey, who survives.
Also surviving are mother, Jenny Manion of Chillicothe; father and step-mother, Donald and Linda Sprouse of Londonderry; mother-in-law, Ruby Ramsey of Circleville; daughters, Tanya R. Ramsey of Jackson and Tanya’s former husband, Harry W. Freeman of Wellston and Tarah M. Ramsey of Wellston; grandchildren, Casey Jo and Hailey A. Freeman and Peyton N. and Preston S. Ramsey; brothers, Donald Sprouse, Rob (Jackie) Sprouse, both of Londonderry, and Orin (Becky) Sprouse of Chillicothe; a sister, Christal (Michael) Butterbaugh of Chillicothe; a sister-in-law, Eva Fletcher of Circleville; and four nephews, six nieces and five great-nieces.
She was predeceased by a brother, Tim Sprouse; a niece, Destany Sprouse; a brother-in-law, Howard Fletcher; and step-father, Tom Manion.
Vickey adored her grandbabies, loved camping and loved her little dog, Harley.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, in the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe, with Pastor Larry Leasure officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
