Henrietta Fares, 89, of Circleville, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015.
She was born Feb. 15, 1926, in Cookeville, Tennessee, to the late Henry and Minnie (Hawkins) Stewart.
Henrietta loved hosting family and friends for some of her “real” southern cooking. Her grandchildren were very special to her and she loved her time spent with them. She was also a lover of cats, quilting and painting.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Fares; and sister, Sue Douglas.
She is survived by loving daughter, Linda (Jerry) Hill; grandchildren, Traci (Jim) Gochenouer and Rex (Barb) Hill; great-grandchild, Zachary Hill; step great-grandchildren, Justin, Shane and Erin; step-great-grandchildren, Nathan, Eli, Scarlett and Maddox; brothers, William and Robert Stewart; and many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, at the Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 East Main St., Circleville, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday. Interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
