Daryl R. Hoffman, 74, of Stoutsville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, at Riverside Hospital.
He was born July 25, 1941, in Columbus, to the late Earl and Vera (Herron) Hoffman, and was a 1959 graduate of Hamilton Twp. High School.
Daryl was a brick mason, an avid cattleman and a lifelong farmer in the Stoutsville area.
He is survived by the love of his life, Linda Moss; children, Chad (Heather) Hoffman of Stoutsville, Michele Hoffman of Lancaster and Mendy Hoffman of Austin, Texas; grandsons, Seth, Brayden and Silas Hoffman; sister, Cheryl (Roger) Marshall of Canal Winchester; niece, Angela Thompson; and nephew, Christopher Marshall.
In addition to his parents, Daryl was preceded in death by his brother Terry Hoffman.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Dr. Mark Smith officiating. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Stoutsville. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
