Donald Bond Beavers, 77, of Kingston, entered into Heaven on Sept. 24, 2015.
He was born Aug. 2, 1938, the son of late Thurman and Margaret Beavers.
Don was a 1956 graduate of Kingston Union High School and retired from Mead Papermill after 44 years.
Don is survived by his wife of 56 years, Alice (Dee) Large; sons, Michael (Angela) Beavers and Thad (Sarah) Beavers; grandchildren, Dustin (Hollie) Beavers, Jenna (Dann) Lomphoy, Lauren Beavers and Thaddeus and Olivia Beavers; great-grandchildren, Peyton Beavers, Brinn Tuttle and Aria Lomphoy; brother, Robert (Wanda) Beavers; and sisters, Sharon (Jim) Ellis and Judy (Roger) Detillion.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; eldest son, Christopher Beavers; and brothers, Larry and Jim Beavers.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston. Graveside services will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Barry Bennett officiating.
