Rose Ann Justice, 98, of Kingston, went to be with our Lord on Nov. 1, 2015, surrounded by her family.
Rose was born on July 13, 1917, in Yellowbud, the daughter of the late William and Minnie Viola (Boots) Justice.
Rose was predeceased by her parents and all of her siblings, including Grace (Alfred) Parker, Clara Dorothy (Roy) Chester, Harold (Flora) Justice, George (Millie) Justice, Jacob (Francis) Justice, James Justice, Herbert Justice, William (Helen) Justice and Myrtle Justice (infant).
Rose is survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley (Jim) Justice; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Barbara Connelly.
Rose went to school at Kingston High School. She also worked at Curtis Wright in Columbus during World War II as “Rosie the Riveter,” helping to build war planes. She retired from General Electric, Circleville, and lived in Kingston for 47 years. Rose was also a longtime member of the Rising Son Church, Hayesville Road.
Rose’s family would like to thank Heartland of Chillicothe, Brown Memorial Nursing Home and Home Helpers Association for all of the excellent care they provided.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at the Rising Son Church, Hayesville Road, with Rev. Shirley Justice officiating. Burial will follow at Springbank Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rising Son Church.
