Lewis Jeffrey Welsh, 56, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015.
Lewis was born Oct. 5, 1959, in Columbus, son of the late Lewis Garnet Massie and Louise Runkle Massie.
He was the national sales representative for Prospec Electronics.
He is survived by four sisters, Jodi Welsh of Ashville, Barbara (Carl) Leopold of Akron, Grace Moore of Circleville and Connie (Tom) Duffey of Westerville; niece, Laura Whitaker; nephews, Joe Leopold, Matthew Welsh and Jason Welsh; six grand-nieces, Macy, Emily, Mina, Claire, Rose and Maeve; one grand-nephew, Benjamin; and special friends, Dave Sykes, Todd Allen and Jerry Summitt.
Visitation will be held in South Carolina on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd., Mount Pleasant, from 1 to 4 p.m. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2015, with service at 4 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, in Reber Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
