Charles Edward Cromley, age 66, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Charles was a life-long resident of Pickaway County. Charles worked as a meat cutter and later owned a small grocery store known as “Charlie’s Meat Market.” He worked as a truck driver for Roadway and also in the yard for Consolidated Freight.
Charles enjoyed motorcycle riding and in later years enjoyed country living and taking care of his dogs and family.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Vorhees Cromley; stepchildren, Deb Kretzler, Randy and Victor Vorhees; sons, Rob (Stacy) Cromley and Chris (Marianne Timmons) Cromley; granddaughters, Miranda and Meredith Cromley; an aunt, Elsiean LaRue; sister, Barbara Jean Cromley; brother, Robert (Vicki) Cromley; niece, Bethany Cromley; and nephews, Andy Cromley, Jeff (Toni) Smith and Jerry Smith.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Leda L. Cromley and Robert E. Cromley Sr.; sister, Beverly Ann Lawson; and nephew, John Smith.
