Suan Woodrow, 66, of Orient, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at Circleville Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on July 9, 1949, in Circleville, to the late Walter W. and Margaret Marie (Malone) Coontz.
She was a graduate of Teays Valley High School and a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Woodrow; brothers, David, Walter, Phillip and Tom; and sister, Florence Burgett.
She is survived by two sons, James “Bubba” (Cassie) Woodrow of Ashland, Kentucky, and Tim (Jessie) Woodrow of Ashville; grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Cassie, Jaylyn and Shannon; great-grandchildren, Danielle, Luke, Robbie and Cajun; sisters, Carol McDonald of Circleville and Margaret (Bob) Rizer of Idaho; brother-in-law, Jack Burgett of Texas; sister-in-law, Tammy Robinson of Lancaster; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, with a funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, with Jerry Church officiating. Burial will follow in Beckett Cemetery, Commercial Point.
The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home for expenses.
