Josephine Ann (Sutliff) Lucas, 86, of Kingston, went to be with our Lord on Dec. 13, 2015, surrounded by her family.
She was born on Oct. 14, 1929, the daughter of the late Lyle and Helen (Johnson) Sutliff in Bristolville, Ohio.
Josephine was a 1947 graduate of Bristolville High School.
Josephine is survived by her son, Jack (Sandy) Krieg of Kingston; daughter, Connie (Dwayne “Bud”) Ruby of Kingston; grandchildren, Dannette Brainard, Paul (Mikee) Krieg, Shelley Krieg, Ben (Susan) Krieg, Ian Ruby and Jill Ruby; great-grandchildren, Krieg Wissinger, Ryder, Cru, Jasper and Kye Krieg, Haley, Kaitlyn and Jayden Krieg, and Benny, Dexter and Penelope Krieg; and many other special family members and friends.
Josephine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul M. Krieg; and daughter, Paula Jo Sullivan.
Josephine attended Hallsville Community United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also an avid gardener with a green thumb including growing cactus and a variety of flowers. She is also remembered as an excellent seamstress who made clothing for her children during their youth.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston, with Jamie Jones officiating. Calling hours will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. on Friday.
