James Lamb Hoover, 76, of Circleville, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015.
He was born on Oct. 4, 1939, in Ashville, to Glyn and Jane (Lamb) Hoover.
He was an Air Force veteran, 1957 Circleville High School graduate, life member of AMVETS Post 2256 and ham radio operator K8DFC.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda (Reed) Hoover; and by sister, Penny Dietrich.
James is survived by his mother, Jane (Lamb) Hoover; children, Julie (Greg) Little and James R. (Shannon) Hoover; grandchildren, Marcus (Britt) West, Rebecca Little, Morgan Hoover and Samantha Hoover; great-grandchildren, Brycen and Braden West; and by brother, Fred Hoover.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Harrison Township. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
