Ronald L. Wilson, age 80, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at Mount Carmel Medical Center.
He was born May 23, 1935, in South Bloomfield, to the late Charles and Thelma (Welsh) Wilson. He is also preceded in death by his son, Mark Wilson; sister, Verda Gordon; and brothers, Red Wilson and Punk Wilson.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 39 years, Nancy (Johnson) Wilson; children, Marty (Gary) Bethel, Andy (Terri) Hume and Brad (Jenny) Hume; grandchildren, Travis, Todd (Julia), Sheila (Keith), Nick, Nathan, Danielle, Brad II and Sara; two great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Wilson; many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Ronald graduated from Ashville High School and worked primarily for the Ford Motor Company in sales for 50 years, where he won numerous awards. He was a member of Mifflin Presbyterian Church. Ronald enjoyed golf and was a huge Buckeye Fan. He especially loved his family and his dogs Dusty and Frankie.
Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at Mifflin Presbyterian Church, 123 Granville St., Gahanna, with Rev. David Bubb officiating. Interment will follow at Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield.
