Craig joins Beta Beta Beta honor society at Ashland University
Cassandra Craig of Orient is a member of Ashland University’s Beta Beta Beta honor society.
Craig is majoring in biology. She is the daughter of Jeffery and Melissa Craig of Orient and a 2012 graduate of Central Crossing High School.
Beta Beta Beta Biological honor society is a society for students, particularly for undergraduates. It seeks to encourage scholarly attainment in this field of learning by reserving its regular membership for those who achieve superior academic records and who indicate special aptitude for and major interest in the life sciences.
Clark named to Olivet dean’s list
Levi Clark of Ashville was named to the dean’s list at Olivet Nazarene University during the recently completed fall 2015 semester. To qualify for inclusion on the dean’s list, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.
Three named to University of Akron dean’s list
Three local students are among more than 3,600 who made the fall 2016 dean’s list at the University of Akron.
- Mark Faris of Circleville is majoring in Mechanical Engineering Tech.
- Thomas Livingston of Orient is majoring in Political Sci – CJ Track 2.
- Madison Storts of Circleville is majoring in Accounting.
Two local students earn degrees at Miami University
Miami University awarded 932 degrees to students during fall commencement exercises Dec. 11, 2015, in Millett Hall.
Local students honored are Andrew Daniels of New Holland with a Master of Arts degree; and Emily Marcum of Circleville with a Bachelor of Science with University Honors, Magna Cum Laude.
