John Edward Helsel, 85, of Williamsport, passed away on Feb. 18, 2016.
He was born on Oct. 5, 1930.
John was an Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Helsel, Linora Tinkham and Frank Helsel; and great-grandson, Jeremiah.
John is survived by his wife, Barbara (Russell) Helsel; children, Debbie Helsel, Ronald Helsel, Linda (Randy) Hoop, Connie Bush, Kimberly (Scott) Schooley and Kevin (Lahoma) Helsel; grandchildren, Christina, Jonathan, Michael, Michele, Kaylee, Jesse, Dalton and Joseph; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Calob, Montana, Kennedy, Harley, Mariah, Faith, Skyler and Maddie; and by brother, Robert Helsel.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Darbyville Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
