Gary Lee Coleman, 63, of Ashville, passed away on March 20, 2016.
He was born in Zanesville to Robert and Patricia (Wahl) Coleman on Aug. 23, 1952.
He was a 32nd degree Mason, belonged to Ohio Archers Association, Ohio Coon Hunters Association, Shriners, United Mine Workers and participated in Quarter Horse Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a cousin, Elinor Tucker; and two Chihuahuas, Madalyn and Marilyn.
Gary is survived by his wife, LuAnne (Grella) Coleman; daughter, Tammy (Gene Evans) Thomas; grandchild, Alex; brother, Michael (Jill) Coleman; nephews, Curt (Susie) Coleman, and their children, Caid and Anna, Mitch (Airel) Coleman, and their children, Ayla and Myka; sister-in-law, Carol (Dave) Chorniak; and by his seven rescued Chihuahuas.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2016, at the Village Chapel Church, Ashville. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. The family requests everyone to dress casual.
Memorial contributions are suggested to American Heart Association or Tough Enough To Wear Pink Horse Show.
