Claude L. “Vern” Baugher, 85, passed away at home April 1, 2016.
He was born Aug. 25, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Claude O. and Beatrice (Endarffer) Baugher.
He was the beloved husband of Carol S. (Montoney), who survives, and father of Mark (Lisa) Baugher, Claudia (Gary) Myers, Randall (Karin) Baugher, Paul (Laura) Baugher and Vicki Baugher. Also surviving are his step-children, Linda (Gary) Drolet, Scott (Laura) Bowman, Wayne (Tina) Bowman, Victor (Heather) Bowman, Julia (Todd) Derry and Beverly Vaughn; 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene (Patricia); sister, Ruth Herrick; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Vern was a proud Army veteran (1949-1952), a graduate of the University of Michigan and a retired engineer from Tooling and Equipment International of Livonia, Michigan.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Logan Elm Baptist Church, 22530 Bolender Pontious Rd., Circleville. Family will receive friends 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
