Larry E. Toole, age 75, of Ashville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 8, 2016, in Clarksville, Tennessee.
He was born July 15, 1940, in Ashville, to the late William and Ina (Dumm) Toole in Ashville.
He was a graduate of Scioto Township High School, a US Army veteran and a barber for over 50 years.
Larry was a member of the following organizations; Ashville K of P, Ashville Kiwanis, Ashville Community Men’s Club, South Bloomfield VFW, Palmetto Mobile Home Shuffleboard Club, and Shuffle Boards in the Pro level in both Ohio and Florida.
Larry was preceded in death by brothers, Richard, William Jr., Russell and Robert.
He is survived by his wife, Susan K (Herbert) Toole; daughter, Tamie (Matt) Caudill of Clarksville, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Caroline and Carson. He is also survived by brothers, Douglas Toole of Little Walnut and Don Toole of Ray; sisters, Patsy Sims of Circleville, Esther Durrett of Commercial Point and Beckie Barnes of Florida; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016, and one hour prior to the service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, with Pastor Floyd Hubbell officiating. Interment will follow in Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield.
