Peggy Dill, 75, of Williamsport, died Monday, May 9, 2016, at her residence.
She was born June 7, 1940, in Jamestown.
She was preceded in death by parents, George and Minnie (Thompson) Mercer; husband, John “Jack” Dill; brothers, Raymond Leon Mercer and Volney Mercer; half-brother, John Mercer; sisters, Viola Mercer and Colleen Meade; and an infant great-granddaughter.
She is survived by her loving family of children, Michelle (Douglas) Lane of Williamsport, Mark (Teresa) Jenkins of Nipgen, Michael (Tera) Jenkins of Baltimore and Melissa Jenkins of Ashville; grandchildren, Jamie Fox, Douglas Lane II, Courtney Jenkins, Nicholas Jenkins, Richard Jenkins, Amanda Lane, Anthony Lane, Taylor Jenkins, Tawnya Hutton, Kristen Lane, Mackenzie Jenkins, Elizabeth Lane, Keifer Cody Cathel, Kyle Curtis Cathel and Riley Jenkins; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Danetta Newland and Marjorie Williams; sisters-in-law, Earldeen Mercer and Phyllis Mercer; special niece, Marilyn Jenkins; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, Mt. Sterling. The interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday evening.
