Robert L. Lowry, 70, of Circleville, died unexpectedly at 1:26 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
He was born Dec. 7, 1945, in Hocking County, son of the late Paul and Jocie Martin Lowry.
Surviving are children, Bobby (Joni) Lowry of Circleville, Krissi (Chad) Conkel of Circleville, Eric McWhorter of McArthur and Stephanie (Jason) Holstine of McArthur; brother, Mike Lowry; sisters, Linda Porter and Barbie Lowry, all of Chillicothe; 15 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two very special nephews, Troy and Jamie Porter, both of Chillicothe; and many other family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Paul “Buck” Lowry; and a grandchild, Camryn Ray Holstine.
Robert loved his grandchildren in words that can’t be expressed. He loved spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting and going to horse races. He attended Second Chance Ministry.
Graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2016, in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Demint officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon on Monday at the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
