Allen W. Wheeler, age 70, of Ashville, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016, at Berger Hospital, Circleville.
He was born June 19, 1946, in McConnellsville, the son of Alvie and Bertha Burris Wheeler.
Allen worked at Buckeye Steel Castings for 18 years and was the manager of Ashville Country Estates Mobile Home Park for 39 years.
He is survived by wife, Dorothy Jackson Wheeler of Ashville; daughter, Phyllis Hollaway of Texas; sons, Ken (Kimberley) Waller of Grove City and Tim Wheeler of Ashville; sisters, Nancy Vangelow of Columbus, Alice Dimascola of Columbus and Virginia West of Florida; brother, James Wheeler of Galloway; five grandchildren;and four great-grandchildren.
Allen was preceded in death by sister, Janice; and brothers, Bobby Wheeler and Richard Wheeler.
After cremation, memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 West Main St., Ashville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Central Ohio Office, 937 High St., Worthington, Ohio 43085.
