Farrell T. Willis, 99, of Bainbridge, passed away at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, at his home.
He was born April 19, 1917, at home in Austin, Ohio, the first of seven children to the late Dane T. and Etta Bell Willis.
On Nov. 1, 1940, he married Rozella Polk, who passed away Feb. 15, 2004.
He is survived by his son, Denney T. (Patricia Griffin) Willis of Tucson, Arizona; two grandsons, Joshua Willis and Adam (Jennifer) Willis; four great-grandchildren, Noah, Ava, Luke and Griffin Willis; sister, Mary Ann Willis Torres of Toledo; brothers, Don (Mary Helen Woods) Willis of Highland and Dane T. (Janet Van Dyke) Willis of Circleville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Catherine Knicely; and brothers, Jack and Joe Willis.
Farrell was a retired farmer, a member of the Farm Bureau, member of the Leesburg Friends Church, and a 69-year member of the Bainbridge Lodge 196 Free and Accepted Masons.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Pastor Matt Brookes officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with Farrell’s family from 6to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, at the funeral home.
