Cynthia A. “Sandy” Gentry, 56, of Circleville, passed away Aug. 19, 2016, at her home in Circleville.
She was born Feb. 16, 1960, in Williamson, West Virginia, to Bruce and Jeanette (Blackburn) Williamson.
She was raised in Vinton County and attended Vinton County High School.
She was a loving mother of four and grandma (Nana) to 11 grandchildren. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.
She enjoyed living in the country and being outside. She always had an open door and open heart to listen to others and try and help whenever she could. Sandy made sure everyone knew how much they were loved.
Sandy is survived by her father, Bruce Williamson; her mother, Jeanette Hare, both of Circleville; her children, Chris Gentry Jr. of Circleville, Nikki (Jimmie) Cottrill of Circleville, Roger Gentry of Orient and Angel (Jake) Kelley of Circleville; 11 grandchildren, Mason and Lucas Gentry, Auberigh, Jaylynn and Cynthia Cottrill, Gunner and Carter Gentry, Addison and Carson Kelley and Hayden and Isabella VanGundy; sisters, Deborah Engelman and Bernita Cottrell; brother, Ron Williamson; and former husband, Chris Gentry Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with burial to follow in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
