Ralph and Lora Jones of Circleville announce the engagement of their daughter, Lea Emily Jones, to José Sandoval Duran, son of Graciela Tapia Duran and Bernardino Elizonda of Fairfield.
José proposed while taking Miss Jones flying over her hometown of Circleville.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Circleville High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Xavier University in Cincinnati. In May 2016, she received her master’s of science degree in nursing from The University of Cincinnati. She is an Advanced Practice Fellow at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in Columbus.
The groom-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Universidad del Valle de Atemajac in Guadalajara, Mexico. He received his bachelor’s degree in business entrepreneurship from The University of Cincinnati, as well as his associates degree in aviation. He is a First Officer pilot with Endeavor Air, Minneapolis, Minnesota. José carries dual citizenship with the United States and Mexico.
A November wedding is planned in the back yard of the bride’s parents in Circleville.
