Rickie L. Adkins, 69, of Circleville, well known to his buddies as “Hukilau,” died Oct. 4, 2016, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 18, 1947, in Portsmouth, the son of Royce and Emma (Bush) Adkins.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for Martin Painting and Coating.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother; children, Heather List and Timothy Wiley; grandchildren, Brody, Alyssa, Christian, Noah and Luke; brothers, Larry, Barry and Kevin; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial followed in Fernwood Cemetery. Friends called from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.
