Roy Walisa, 88, of Circleville, passed away on Jan. 11, 2017.
He was born on March 15, 1928, in Circleville, to Arthur and Carrie (Brown) Walisa.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
He loved camping, fishing and traveling. He enjoyed talking about naval ships.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie (Shockey) Walisa; grandson, Scott Walisa; and by three sisters and two brothers.
Roy is survived by his children, Robert (Carolyn), Charles (Darla), Jeffrey (Judith) Walisa and Jennifer (Edward) Struckman; and by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Floral Hills Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home.
