Ronald Lewis Skaggs, 72, of Circleville, passed away on Jan. 27, 2017.
He was born on Nov. 17, 1944, in Pickaway County, to Leo and Julia (Speakman) Skaggs.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ronald was a Vietnam Army veteran.
He was retired from Kenworth, where he had been a materials planner after 25 years, and was a volunteer at Berger Hospital.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Marion) Skaggs; children, Kim (Rick) Elswick and Branden (Beth) Skaggs; grandchildren, Nathan and Natalie Elswick, Logan and Mick Skaggs; two sisters, Susan Beckley and Janie (Jim) Davis; and by nieces and nephews, Julie, Christie, Tammy, Bucky, Paul, Phil and Rhonda.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor Paul Elswick officiating. Burial will be in Hitler Ludwig Cemetery with full military honors. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
